FHE
For Family Night this week we went to the pumpkin patch with the Patanes and the Maughans. It was so much fun!! And SO cold :). We all played in the hay maze, picked out our pumpkins, and then went to FIIZ for some hot chocolate after :). It was a lot of fun. 10-9-17
"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Bradley's 13th Birthday!!
BIRTHDAY LUNCH
We needed a way to distinguish Brad's birthday from all the other days :). Even though we had been celebrating it for a couple days, it needed something. So we decided to go out to lunch before Nate had to go to work. We decided to try out a new place (we called it Bradley's decision, but he really doesn't like making decisions so he had a LOT of help :) ) called Blaze Pizza. You get to create your own pizza and watch them cook it in the stone oven... pretty cool. Everyone seemed happy with it. Very yummy and a good time with everyone. My favorite thing was when I looked over and saw Kelly and Brad taking a selfie together to document the moment on Instagram :). One good thing about social media is all the love they show their sibs on there. Makes me happy. 10-7-17
THE PONDS FOR BRAD
I was feeling really bad that Brad didn't have anything big on his big day. So I asked him if he could do anything with all of us, what would he do (kind of hoping my hints about Frightmares had sunk in), and guess what he chose- The Ponds! In case he hasn't spent enough time there!! HAHA! But when I made that comment to him, he said, "but not with EVERYONE!" And I realized he was right! So I grabbed my camera and we all went over to the ponds! It was a lot of fun! The boys all fished, the girls and I walked around taking pictures. It was a really nice, relaxing time. We need to do that more often. I hate realizing that I'm too caught up in my life to enjoy it. Charity had her little robo baby with her as well- that was a fun adventure for her! Pretty eye-opening I think. Then we went and grabbed some dinner and headed home for a movie. Lots of fun. Hope Bradley had a nice birthday! We sure love him and all that he is for our family. I can't imagine our home without him and his loving, sweet, cheerful personality. 10-7-17
