Erika: I bet if the Grinch had his birthday on Christmas THEN he would like it :).
Jack Jack and his interrupting cow Knock Knock joke.
I hope I never forget Jack's "ngh" the sound he makes when you tell him something and he doesn't know what else to say. It's in place of "oh" but not quite an "oh". Oh would be too much effort. I love it!
Luke, after playing with Molly for a while: Brad, ya wanna hold Molly? .... Molly's at her cutest right now!!
Very serious conversation between Erika and Luke:
E- the walker is lighter than Molly!
L- I can see that happening-- she eats so much!

Things to Remember Week of 2-21-16
QUESTIONS
So it was my week to teach Beehives and I planned this amazing lesson (I can say that because it never actually happened :) ) about why our choices matter, but Michelle had remembered the question box that we've been meaning to look in for a long time. So we ended up talking about/answering the questions in the question box the entire time! Crazy stuff. There were some really great questions! I loved hearing everyone offering suggestions to whoever asked each question. Kinda cool. I'm happy to talk about the stuff they actually have questions about. Plus I think this helps them learn how to ask questions which I think is also very important. 2-21-16
MONDAY
I totally rocked it on Monday! I got so much done all day! I just like to document these days because they are few and far between! I washed, dried, folded and put away 6 loads of laundry, 3 loads of dishes, cleaned up all the garbage, dishes, clothing and toys throughout the house, had my visiting teachers come, had lunch with Becky, and picked up my groceries. all before 3:00 pm! Go me. 2-22-16
FHE
Erika told a story from the Friend about a girl who found out she had leukemia and received a bone marrow transplant from her brother. She had learned how to look on the bright side and think positively. It was cool to watch the kids' faces when they realized how good we have it and that we should be grateful we don't have trials like that. We played hide and go seek for Jack's game and had ice cream sundaes for Molly's treat. 2-22-16
NATIONAL JUNIOR HONOR SOCIETY
I'm not sure if I mentioned this, but Charity was chosen to be in the NJHS! She did such a great job on her application, I was so proud of her! She's excited to be part of it and have something to put on resumes and college applications :). 2-23-16
SPELLING BEE DISTRICT LEVEL
Bradley and I studied long and hard on the district words then when they started we were both surprised to find out that they were using the school list instead of the district words! Bradley expressed a bit of relief, I on the other hand was feeling completely cheated! Bradley's first word was "dandelion". He did great! We were all so excited and I loved looking down the row and seeing everyone's relief and excitement for him! There was some serious tension on the first word :). Lots of happy faces though :). Then his second word was "declivity". I didn't remember that word from either list, so it was fortunate that Bradley was able to guess. He did awesome. Then his third word was "imbecile". Unfortunately the caller said the word wrong then corrected herself and there was a big deal made about it before he even started. He added a couple letters and that was it. He was out. Such a bummer! We were really just so proud of him though!! He was bummed, but I think he was just happy to have it over with. He was feeling so crappy that day too. We went to Dairy Queen to celebrate :). 2-23-16
PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES
KJH Parent Teacher conferences were really nice this time. We only talked to a select few this time. They all had fantastic things to say about our girls. We stood and visited with Mrs. Glover for a while, chatted with ward members... it was just really pleasant. 2-24-16
OVERTIME
Nate had to work overtime on Thursday and that was a total bummer. We always miss him extra on the days he's not supposed to be gone. We ahd a lot of juggling around that evening with boys basketball practices, song practice and YW basketball, but it all worked out. I'll never forget Noah running across the street and into the Junior High in his tight little jammies to get the boys... classic :)

TGIF
Nate and I tackled our bathroom on Friday this week! Took us all morning, but we did it! De-cluttered/ organized drawers, and deep cleaned the place. It was great! I love how it feels. Then Annie and her cute family showed up and we sat and visited with them. It was so fun to hear about Jake's process through the ATC stress. I hope things work out for them. It's always so fun to see their cute kids and reminisce. I wish we could do that once a week :). After that we dropped Charity off at Station Park, took Kelly and Noah birthday present shopping (for their friends' parties this weekend), dropped Kelly off at her party, made dinner, figured out how to work the chromecast Steve gave us, got Vidangel, picked up Charity, and then had our beloved movie night! It was a lot of fun this time because we had extras with us. Trenton, Rachel, Josh and Kate all joined in. Hopefully Ant-Man wasn't too much for any of them. Even the edited version seemed like it might be too much. I felt kind of weird about it. Hopefully they were okay. I stayed up late watching Count of Monte Cristo. I love that movie! 2-26-16
PAIN
So I"m not sure what it is, possibly the walks we've been on everyday this week, but my legs have been hurting worse. I keep hoping and waiting for this pain to go away, but it just isn't. Walking is so painful and stepping to the side is like death. I feel like my legs are going to fall off. It's still almost impossible to roll over in bed and everything hurts when I stand up from sitting down. It's almost impossible to stand straight up right away. I can't believe these symptoms did not go away with the pregnancy. It's so discouraging. I was reading up on it online and found that a lot of women will have these problems postpartum and that they can lead to depression. I can feel myself headed in that direction again, but I'm trying so hard to keep control of my emotions and not let the little things get to me. It's really hard! I think if I'm not better int he next year I might go see a doc about it. I don't know what i think they could do, physical therapy or something, I don't know, but hopefully there is something.
KIDS
I couldn't believe how annoying the other teams' parents were at the basketball this morning! They were so rude!!! Criticizing EVERYONE the entire time! The kids, the refs, the coaches! It was nuts. I was getting so heated the whole time!! It took everything in me to not scream out, "THEY'RE KIDS!!! ALL OF THEM!!! JUST KIDS!!!! CUT THEM SOME SLACK!!!" at them. I really was getting so worked up inside. The boys played so good though and so hard! I was so proud of them! We were so close to winning this time too!! I think if they'd let us have our last 30 seconds, we'd have won, but what can ya do. Two more games left! 2-27-16
STAKE WOMEN'S CONFERENCE
Charity and Kelly were asked to sing in the Women's conference on Saturday. They did such a great job!! I was not all that excited for the meeting, but I"m glad I had a reason to go. It's hard when I spend so much time away from home for YW to justify going to more things, so I took Molly with me. I took her out to feed her during the last half. I was really glad to see Becky there and be able to visit with her a little. She makes me feel like myself is okay. I was not feeling real great emotionally that morning and having a hard time getting over the annoying basketball game stuff. It was just obvious to me whiel I was there that I am not doing as well as I'd like to be emotionally. It was a good chance to check myself and decide to start over. The last thing I want is to find myself in that hole again. I am going to ask Nate for a blessing tonight to help with this. 2-27-16
8
Took everyone shopping together after Nate left for work, to get the things we've been needing for Sundays. Charity needed a shirt, Kelly needed some shoes, Bradley needed a shirt, Erika and Jack needed shoes. We got some tights for the girls and socks for Bradley as well, and it was a very productive trip, but it never ceases to amaze me how many looks we get! Charity and Kelly are now VERY aware of who is counting kids as we cross the parking lot and who is rolling their eyes about us being in their way. Kinda lame, but at least we can all just laugh it off. 2-27-16
IHOP
Charity, Kelly, Molly and I rewarded ourselves with dinner at IHOP for our fitness challenge. We did so good! Kelly was actually the winner, but we basically just rewarded all of us :). Nate thinks it's funny to go out to dinner to celebrate a fitness challenge, and maybe it is, but we were happy to have an excuse to spend some time together. We loved the challenge so much we are going to continue. We're stepping it up a little and making it a little more challenging this month. I love having the girls to do this with. 2-27-16

Pictures- mostly Molly
I couldn't resist the urge to take pictures of this little sweetie and her daddy. So cute!
this was a total in between expressions shot, but I think it's hilarious. She looks like a snobby little princess :).
Love this girl's eyes
This is the face most people get :)
Had to get pictures of everyone else in the room too :)
Then I brought her over by me to sit on the ottoman. She was the perfect little subject! I love capturing all the many faces that a baby can go through in a matter of minutes. She's so beautiful. I just love my little Molly.
This is the face she makes when she's talking about something serious
about to spit :)
love the lips
