MARCH 2021

 FHE

We had some surprise visitors for FHE this week.  Ryan, Heidi's friend, as well as Grandma Hatch halfway through, so it was a little different.  Luke gave our lesson on walking on the path of righteousness.  I loved his lesson and thought he did a great job.  With the giving directions with a still small voice and then someone trying to distract the blindfolded person.  He did great.  Even with the visitors.  We had chocolate chip cookies from Richardsons for the treat.  3-1-21

LACROSSE "TRYOUTS"

Kelly had "tryouts" this week.  The reason I use quotation marks is because her coach did the DUMBEST thing with the "tryouts".  Kelly had been five minutes late to practice on Tuesday because we were getting her prescription and got stuck in the Walgreens drive thru (for medicine that didn't even work) and so to make her an example, her coach didn't name her as one of the Varsity girls.  She had six girls who had "demonstrated that they could play at a Varsity level" and Kelly wasn't one of them.  It was so irritating.  Kelly has been on Varsity since she was in 9th grade.  One of the most valuable players on this team and was used as a bad example for ONE TARDY!!  I am still really ticked off about it.  I wasn't able to contain my anger and chewed out John Bunch over the phone, then confronted Makkenzie about it after the parent meeting.  Probably not some of my most shining moments, but I had had enough.  It's not really my style, but like I said, I couldn't contain myself.  I don't know if my saying something changed anything, but it felt good to get it off my chest.  They better put her on Varsity soon and they better make her captain too while they're at it.  Which would only make this even more ridiculous.  But whatever.  I'm excited to watch Kelly play her last season.  She better get enough playing time!!  3-4-21

FOOD ORDERS

Nate did bacon wrapped meatballs this week.  He sold quite a few and learned that these are very labor intensive.  Probably not his favorite one.  But it was nice to bring in so much.  3-5-21

NIELSON'S FROZEN CUSTARD

We had quite the challenge getting some frozen custard on Friday.  I had promised Erika we'd get some on Tuesday after having to change her family night treat, but we had to keep rescheduling.  Friday was the day, but wow, it was tough!  We had to go drop Brad off at his friend's house, so our little caravan (Heidi and her kids were coming with us, so they followed us on the excursion) drove all the way up to Avery's house by Mutton Hollow.  Then we made our way to Nielson's, got there and realized it was going to be a pretty long wait with how many cars were in line.  We sat in line for about 20 minutes before Nate finally maxed out- he needed to get home so he could get ready for work.  So I informed Heidi, we slipped out of line and flipped around to get Nate home.  When we got home we realized that Kelly was going to be home soon, so we hung out there for another 15 minutes for her.  I think that was when I went and got some gas as well, because the light had clicked on while we were in line at Nielson's.  So Kelly showed up and wanted to wait for Sierra and Matt, so some more waiting.  Finally they showed up and we all drove back down to Nielson's.  We waited in line for at least a half hour!  It was a VERY long wait!  But we finally got our concretes and ice cream cones and all was well!  But we realized we had been in the car for two hours straight!!  So crazy!!  Totally worth it though!  3-5-21

ERIKA'S LAST GAME OF THE SEASON

Erika and her team did such a great job this week!  Such a high note to end the season on!!  She struggled the last few games to make any of her shots, but after missing a few shots, she made one and then she was on a roll!  She made a BUNCH more!!  Kate did too!  It was so much fun to have them scoring again and playing so well!  Didn't hurt that Nate was back :).  That last week of me and Brad coaching was not ideal.  But they did so good!!  Go Erika!!! 3-6-21

GETTING RELEASED

We were very relieved when Nate got the call to come see the stake president.  We didn't know what was going to happen, but having something happen felt like a relief.  Nate was done thinking about him being bishop and had moved on to thinking that he was going to just be a counselor.  I was more comfortable with this idea of course :).  President Larsen was very grateful for his service, released him, then called him to be the 2nd counselor again :).  Kinda funny, but necessary, so I get it.  This felt good.  We were escorted into the next room to see that Bishop Nybo had been called and Jay Moore was the 1st counselor!  So pretty cool!!  I was really excited about that.  This will be a fun group I think.  3-6-21

GIRLS CAMP MEETING

I cannot even contain my excitement with this new calling!!  I don't even think I mentioned it- probably two weeks ago, Nate casually called me to be the Girls Camp Assistant Camp Director!  Keeley Mendenhall is the camp director so you can imagine my excitement!!  She's been so sweet about wanting me to be in that calling with her.  Makes me so happy.  This is Kelly's last year of camp and Erika's first, so perfect one for me to come to :).  We had our first meeting on Sunday before church and I loved it!!  I am getting really excited to see what we can do with this camp this year.  Even with the COVID crap, I think it will be good!!  3-7-21

NEW BISHOPRIC

Nate and the rest of the new bishopric were sustained this week.  I think this was a huge relief for a lot of people.  It definitely feels better to have that done.  Nate is righ tback at it with the meetings this week.  Even had to miss Charity's birthday dinner for his training.  I think this will be a good fit for him though.  I'm happy for him.  3-7-21

FHE

For family night tonight we went swimming at the Rec Center!  This was a much needed fun time for everyone!  Molly loved it and keeps asking if we can go there again for her birthday or when Charity is here, or just again!  It's cute.  Even Sadie loved it.  She was pretty comfortable with it most of the time.  I was proud of her for not being too scared.  Jack was off on his own enjoying every minute of it as well.  The boys all went on the slide, Erika and Brad swam around the lazy river a bunch with us all... it was so much fun!!  We need to do that again sometime soon!  3-8-21

CHARITY'S 19th BIRTHDAY

Charity's birthday looked a little different this year, which was a little hard for me, but I was so glad I got to go see her and spend time together!  We all got to meet up with her, up in Logan for some Texas Roadhouse!  It was a little tricky getting out of Kaysville, with the wrestling meet and Track practice juggling cars.  We were sad that Nate and Kelly couldn't make it with us, they both had excused absences :).  But we did meet up with Grandpa Hatch, and Sierra and Matt came with us, to help make it feel more special.  We were a little bummed about the cancellations at the last minute, but it was a big deal, driving up to Logan and all, so it's all good.  We had such a great time!  I loved seeing Charity in her 19 year old self.  She showed me her new shirt and shoes she had just bought.  It was fun to see Isaac as well and hear about all the funny stuff he was saying the whole time :).  I love her hair- I don't know if I mentioned this- when she was here last weekend, she went out and cut her hair all off!  Super short!  Super super cute!!  I was so happy for her and her spontaneity.  She's really been branching out a lot lately- makes me so proud of her.  She seemed very happy that day and we loved spending that time with her.  She is such a beautiful woman.  I couldn't be more proud.  I hope we made her day special.  Nate was able to go up the next day and take her out to lunch which was super cool.  They had a great time.  Some much needed Daddy-daughter time.   I hope she felt loved!  3-9-21

ERIKA ORTHO

We found out today that Erika will be starting with her braces a lot sooner than they had predicted.  They want her to come in in a week and get started!  Kinda crazy.  I hope she's not too young for them.  She seems cautiously excited and said Kate will be getting some soon too :).  April 6th, here we come!  3-10-21

BRAD TRACK

We've been loving Brad's track meets this season!  It's been nice to have them at Davis and I've been able to just run up there real quick to catch his events and then come back home.  So much better for the little people.  Although, when it warms up, I'd really like to take the little people so that they can get a taste of Track!  How else are they going to want to do that when they grow up!?  Brad has been doing hurdles, the 110 and the 300, as well as some relays and even the 400 which he did REALLY great on.  He crashed and burned once at the finish line which was so sad and left a HUGE mark, but he's been so good to keep at it.  I'm really proud of him.  I could see him going far with the track stuff.  3-10-21

KELLY'S FIRST GAME

Kelly had the most awesome first game of the season yesterday!!!  I LOVED it!!  Not only did she get the first goal, totally sticking it to her silly coach (yes, it felt really good!), but then she made four more throughout the game, all of her shooting space shots, and then three assists as well!  She played like a star!  I was so proud of her!  She played the ENTIRE game (even though she had missed some practices- I guess Makenzie needs to be more specific about how missing will effect her playing time- I assumed that would be a negative effect, but I'll take it :) HA!  jk)!!!  I loved it though!  It was so fun that we got to play on the football field, it was fun to see that they had been spoiled with snacks and treats for the game, and their new jerseys, their new backpacks... it's going to be a fun last season for Kelz!!  I'm super happy for her!  3-12-21

OUT WITH THE CLEMENSES

Julie texted us on a whim to go out Friday night and so even though we got done with the game so late and out to salt lake pretty late, we were able to have dinner together at the Cheesecake Factory.  It was so nice!  I just love hanging out with them.  3-12-21

PAINTING THE ENTRY WAY

Nate got the motivation to pain the entry way which was very exciting!  We painted our living room like the week before we had Sadie I think, so it's been well over a year and half wait to get this done.  It's so tall that it was a big project to tackle and took some deliberating on which color we wanted.  So I was really happy when Nate was in the mood to do it (I keep having to delete the word finally- that's not the feel I want to give- Nate is always very productive, so it's not like he hasn't been doing a million other things, but it has been long-awaited by us both).  We settled on a slightly lighter shade of grey than the living room, which is funny because there's basically no difference- HA!  But it looks SO NICE!!!  I'm so happy about it.  Downside was that even though we paid extra for the paint with no fumes, it still managed to irritate Heidi.  So she took off.  We had assumed she would be gone for the actual painting part since it was the weekend anyway, but didn't consider that it could bother her long after it dries- which seems strange since it was the kind with less fumes.  But I'm not here to argue- just feel bad that it came across as us not wanting her to live here.  Kind of a bummer.  She did get a little upset, but after that was resolved, texted to let me know that she and the kids would be living with my mom for the next month awaiting the proper check stubs to get into her own place.  I don't blame her for wanting to get into an apartment of her own, but feels a little like a waste since the whole reason we invited her to live here was so that she wouldn't have to live with mom.  But it's all good.  It's time.  It's been a nice change to have the kids invite their friends over and be able to do more things with them.  One thing I learned from this experience is that we are very private people.  3-13-21--3-18-21

LUKE AND NOAH'S LAST GAME

I am feeling really guilty about how angry I got at their game, but the refs were HORRRRRRIBLE!!!  I couldn't believe how bad they were.  They didn't call any fouls even when the kid completely charged into Luke, knocking him over on his back (hit his head on the ground) SO ANNOYING!!!  I'm still a little heated from it.  But they played so hard- they did so well!  I couldn't believe how good they were doing amidst the challenges.  I love watching my kids play sports.  So proud of them.  It was a good season!  3-13-21

CHARITY LUNCH

So maybe I shouldn't post about this, but I'm still annoyed.  I won't give all my mixed feelings and opinions and insults, but my mom planned to take Charity out to lunch (for her birthday to make up for missing last week, which is nice), invited Heidi and her kids, and didn't invite me.  Didn't even THINK of inviting me.  And when asked if she could invite me, by Charity, her reason for not is that there wasn't going to be room in Heidi's car.  Wow.  Just wow.  Like I don't have a 12 passenger van at my disposal.  So irritating.  I mean, I really didn't have time to go, so it wasn't really an option, but would have been nice to have been thought of while going to see the person I helped create.  Pretty sad when your own mom doesn't even THINK of inviting you.  So whatever.  There's that.  She did bring me flowers to make it right that evening, while Heidi loaded up on the few things she will need for the next month (I'm not sure what the rest of this stuff is, but whatever), then got mad when I shared how I've been feeling and stormed out.  So strange.  3-15-21

SHIRTS

For St. Patrick's Day I had wanted to make some green shirts for all the kids, but wanted to do something besides St. Patrick's Day on them, so that they could wear them year round.  So I scoured about 5 stores, looking for plain, green (if I'd been up north I probably could have got them all at Hobby Lobby, but I had been waiting for Noah at his YM ice skating activity- yes, on a Tuesday night in Bountiful, from which he ended up getting a ride home with Bro.  Clemens so I killed the time down that way for nothing), soft t-shirts.  It was really difficult!  But I was so happy Tuesday night when my plan came to fruition.  I made them all very different so that it didn't look like matching shirts.  I don't know about all of my kids, but I would not have wanted matching shirts at most of their ages.  Kelly's said, "I beat people with a stick" with a lacrosse stick.   Bradley's said, "I'd rather be fishing".  Luke's was a pixelated basketball.  Noah's said, "Wrestling: the art of folding clothes with the person still in them".  Erika's said, "Love" with a soccer ball for the O.  Jack's had a raptor on it.  Molly's, since I couldn't find a green shirt her size, we used a white t-shirt and let her dot green paint around a shamrock stencil.  Pretty cute- she seemed to like it okay.  She didn't love the structure of me telling her what to do though.  Let's get that out there :).  And Sadie just got a green onesie that said "ridiculously adorable"- I was lazy on hers, but only because I couldn't find a blank one that night.  I have more plans for some for Mother's day... we'll see if that happens.  Those will be much easier.  Can you believe i didn't take a single picture of them in their shirts.  Duh.  3-16-21

LEPRECHAUN'S DAY

We had a usual day!  Very thrilling green milk in the cereal bowl of Lucky Charms.  Unexpected green shirts from mom.  Delicious pastrami and sauer kraut sandwiches on rye (the keto version for Nate and I) by Nate- SO YUMMY!!  And a suspenseful hunt for the pot of gold at the very end of the day because everyone was out forever!  The leprechauns did unscramble the words this time!  Fun day.  I just love Green Day.  3-17-21

PLAYGROUP

I don't know if I've mentioned this, but Playgroup is back in session!  I'm so relieved that some things are coming back and are somewhat normal!  We don't even have to wear masks!  Which is surprising since Natalie is there.  This week we were at Nichols Park.  All the kids at the park had green on- that was cute :).  3-17-21

ACTIVITY DAYS

Jack went to his first in person activity with the ward this week.  They got to go take bags around to houses for the food drive!  yippee.  Can you sense the sarcasm.  Why do we only let kids do things together when it benefits the adults?  That's what I'm noticing.  Anything that is strictly for them is cancelled.  So weird.  But Jack had a great time regardless :).  I'm glad my kids are better at that than me.  3-17-21

LUNCH WITH BECKY

Becky and I went to Orlando's today for lunch.  Pretty good time.  It's been a VERY LONG TIME since we hung out.  Felt good to get out and do something with her though.  Looking forward to our camping trip this summer!  3-18-21

NOAH'S LAST TOURNAMENT FOR THE SEASON

I got to go watch Noah in his last tournament this Saturday.  He did so good!  Put up a good fight!  I was so proud of him!  He didn't win, but for a kid who has been wrestling up all season and did pretty dang awesome at it- we were very proud of him!  He really has improved so much, learned a lot, grew a ton, and I have been amazed by his dedication and commitment to the team and the sport.  I mean, getting up at 5:00 on Fridays!!!!  When there's no in-person school!!!  That's awesome!  GO NOAH!!!  3-20-21

EAR DOC

I FINALLY went to the ear doctor to see what is causing the crackling sound that I've been experiencing off and on for a LOT of years- I honestly don't know when it started, but I distinctly remember asking Dr. Thackeray if he could look in my ears back when I was pregnant with Molly- not Sadie, because I had asked him with Molly and he thought I was weird and said they were fine- HA!-- but with Molly! so what- like at least five years?  Kinda nuts.  But anyway.  I had all these hopes to have some answers, possibly clean our my ears.... NOTHING!  There wasn't anything good that came of that appointment.  Just the news that I need a nasal spray and that my ears were perfectly clean.  Couldn't have been more surprised.  So annoying.  Guess it's another thing I just have to live with.  3-22-21

FHE

Kelly was supposed to be the lesson but had to work instead.  So we skipped the lesson.  Watched the Jazz game for the activity and for the treat they had these yummy looking rolled up apple pie thingys... looked amazing.  I had some ideallean frozen protein treat-ish thing... not quite the same, but I'm starting the 15 day challenge again... It was a mediocre family night, not gonna lie.  But I guess we need a few of those to remind us why we try so hard on the other weeks.  3-22-21

CHANDELIER

We went shopping for a chandelier finally, since Nate had painted and all and couldn't settle on one!  Unbelievable!  Apparently we are more picky when we have the money for it.  3-22-21

BRAD'S DISTRICT MEET

I got to go watch Brad compete in the 110 Hurdles and the 300 Hurdles up at Syracuse High in the trials for district.  Pretty awesome experience!!  I loved watching him.  When he's not racing I just watch him wander around the football field, talking with friends and having fun.  It is really cool to see him in his element.  He did an amazing job!  I am surprised he didn't make it to the finals, I thought for sure he had!  But he did so good!  I was pretty proud of him.  He's worked so hard and done so well this year- lots of progress for sure.  And I love his positive attitude about how he does have two more years to improve!  This kid will go places for sure!  3-24-21

KELLY'S TEAM DINNER

I wasn't going to do a dinner this year, because of our crowded home, but when given the chance to take someone else's day this week, I decided we could now!  I am so glad we did.  It ended up being so much fun!  What a fun group of girls!  I think they had more fun than I've seen in the past.  They stayed for like an hour and a half which is different than the eat and run 20 minutes tops in years past!  It was still pretty crowded, but they seemed to be having fun!  The only thing I regret is not making more food!  More meatballs and salad specifically.  The count Kelly had gotten  from the girls was 20.  We planned for more, but since they all trickled in at different times, I had no idea there would be more girls after allowing the ones here to have seconds and thirds!  I was out of food!  Except mashed potatoes which they all loved of course- Nate's- and we did have enough cheesecakes, so that helps, but UGH!!  So annoying to run out of food!  3-24-21

CHARITY!

Charity surprised me (not Nate, but me) with a visit this weekend!!  Showed up completely unannounced while we were getting ready for Kelly's team dinner!!  What a pleasant, fun, unexpected surprise that was!!!  It made me so happy!  We got to spend a lot of the evening with her, she had fun spying on the team dinner.  So nice.  Then the next day she and I got to go shopping, Keva Juice, lots of chatting in the car, it was so great!!  Thanks to grandma offering to keep Heidi's kids that day.  I loved it!!  It's been a long time since we got to do that.  THEN she and Isaac spent most of the afternoon stripping the paint from the railings in between the family room and kitchen.  SO MUCH WORK!!  This is the work I've been dreading ever since we got the $5,000.00 quote on putting in rot iron... They are getting paid, so it's not like slave labor, but pretty exciting to get that going too- and I got to chat with them in the process!!  Such a great day with my Charity!! I just love her.  3-25-21 

KELLY'S BIG TEXT!

Kelly had an awesome week with Lacrosse this week- at Freemont she scored 4 of the 9 points, had three assists, and just played really awesome the whole game- this was the first one it seemed like they really had to work for points.  Freemont scored 5 which is the most any team has this year.  So she was even sore after.  Then on Thursday with Clearfield, she scored another 4 and then 3 assists because she was being such a great team player she kept getting compliments from her coaches and just had a really fun, rewarding game!  It was pouring rain and the score was 20-0 so we had a good time, but were happy to go home when it was over :).  But then the exciting thing, that night, when she got home, she got a text from the USU Women's Lacrosse Coach asking if she was planning on playing for them next year!!  How cool is that!  Her coach- who I've given a really bad name- sent her info to this coach!  So cool!!!  I am so happy for her!  Just the fact that they want to hear from her.  I don't even care if she chooses to play or not (I would love it- don't get me wrong- but I'm fine with whatever she wants), it's just cool she was contacted!  Like she's been recruited!!  So fun!  Made me even more proud of her.  3-25-21

MAYNES FAMILY EASTER PARTY

The Easter party looked a little different this year.  Some of us were slightly disappointed, but overall, it was a really good time.  Jen planned it.  We had pictures- like right as we pulled up, I had my camera in hand, and we jumped out of the car and took pictures immediately upon our arrival.  Brad and Erika had ridden with Sierra, Luke and Noah had gone with Kelly, so it was just Nate and I and the littles.  But anyway.  Pictures all around.  Then lunch!  Then Jen had a bunch of fun games planned- three-legged race, toss the eggs (some were hardboiled, some were not) the spoon carrying the egg one, and then the older kids just improvised for the rest of the time, playing ultimate frisbee!  Sounded so fun!  The rest of us visited inside- Sadie played with the dolls and Molly became very good friends with the stick horses!  She now wants to go to "the place with the baby chicks" (Cal Ranch) and get her one :).  Cute girl.  Maybe the Easter bunny can get her one?  It was a good time.  Kinda sad they're discontinuing the egg hunt.  Ours are the only ones little enough to really care about it though.  3-27-21

CHURCH

Have I mentioned that we are now going every week again?!  Bishop Nybo said we could.  So it feels like we should.  And actually, if I'm being completely honest- I'd rather go every week and have Sadie get used to it, than have it be a new thing every week... that was getting really discouraging.  I do love going too.  It's a nice time.  I will always have a special place in my heart for those early at home days- when we were having our own family church and sacrament, but I don't think that's how the Lord wants it to be.  It was heavenly though.  It is nice to be with other people and even visit a little.  Even if we still are wearing the stupid masks.  3-28-21

SPRING BREAK

Spring Break officially started on the 25th, but our activities really started on Monday the 29th.  We had laid out plans for the week (I made a table on my notes :) ) to do something big and fun each day.  We've really been having a great time!  So far we went to Crystal Springs on Monday.  That was really fun and new!  I don't think the kids enjoyed it quite as much as the rec center swimming.  It was a different experience, but we all had a good time.  I think Sadie even enjoyed herself.  I hope I never for get the snuggles I got when we were in the warm water together :).  She was loving that!  She got brave enough to walk around on the steps of the big pool too!  Molly had a good time, but she kept noticing everyone's floaties and wished I had let her bring hers.  "See mom!  You can have those!"  Jack was splashing around a ton and really enjoyed making the video with Nate, along with the older kids. Luke  and Noah had some main roles in the movie as well.  Flipping their hair around like Little Mermaid- that was funny.  They all loved the water slides!  That was fun to go over and judge who was coming down first.  I think it's rigged though.  I loved seeing Luke come down sideways with his mohawk... he seemed like he had a really good time :).   Nobody was enjoying putting their heads under the water too much since it was so mineral-y, but we did make a lot of fun memories.  I hope we can forget the yoga lady in the waterfall someday... downward dog is right- Kelz... so gross!!  Sadie really loved putting her feet in the waterfall at the end.  I had fun playing with Bradley and trying to teach him and Nate to float on their backs.  Kelly had fun until the headache set in.  Too many minerals maybe?  Or the heat?  We're not sure.  Poor girl.  I do think I got a little dehydrated, so could have been the case for her too?  That wasn't our favorite part.  We would have loved having Charity with us.  I really loved that place.  When we got home we were all so tired, there were some naps.  We didn't get to our Cupcake Wars as planned, but we did have FHE.  I gave the lesson, we watched the Jazz game for the activity and then had ice cream sandwiches for the treat.  And a movie night afterwards.  Fun stuff.  3-29-21

Tuesday was our "Hike" day.  This was a bummer.  We almost got up to the trail head of Farmington creek trail.  Eye roll.  It was unfortunate that we didn't really know what we were doing and we were limited on time, so it ended abruptly with some playing at the ponds.  Which I missed out on because I had needed to use the bathrom and the nearest one was a gas station nearby.  Then I decided we needed some pizza for lunch so I ran and got that.  It wasn't the best part of Spring Break let's just say that.  Although I do think some people had some fun.  I need something to hike for.  I'm not a just hike for the heck of it kind of person.  

After the hike, we had some down time at home.  Then we went to Fly High for some evening fun!  This was a highlight for a lot of the kids.  They just ran around to their hearts' content.  I ran into Emily Denison and talked for quite a while.  That was interesting.  We had a really good time.  Just wished Kelly and Brad could have been there with us.  Brad was off working his first day at Crumbl!  With Kelly!  Kinda fun that they both work there.  He came home and slept for two hours without even trying he said.  So that was cool.   Then we raced the clock to get Luke home in time for his movie with Jaxx.  They went to see Courier.  The rest of us got some McD's (Jack has been dying to get a kids meal at McD's for the last couple weeks, so this was mostly for him- he seemed somewhat deflated with his weird toy.  I had told him it wasn't going to be the same thing it was two years ago when Noah got his "Rocky" dinosaur... but he still wanted to go there, so we did :)) and Chick-fil-a for me and Cafe Rio for Nate, and R&R for Brad and Kelly!  Can you tell it's Spring Break! HA!  We had a movie night when we got home- we watched a new one- Erika picked it- Playing With Fire-- kinda funny but also kinda weird.  Brad and Kelly brought treats home for everyone.  3-30-21

Wednesday we went to TOPGOLF!  Got there bright and early then waited 20 minutes for a booth with couches :).  The bar height chairs didn't seem optimal with Sadie and Molly... I'm still wondering if that could have been better... not sure.  But we all had a great time!  I kept feeling bad for Erika that she was stuck with Nate, Molly, Sadie and I, but she seemed very happy the whole time and entertained us all so well :).  And really, Sadie and Molly did great!  Molly seemed less into it this time.  She was too scared to get too close to the edge so all of her shots when to the left.  But she had fun :).  I did WAY better than last time!  I was happy about that.  I won the bejeweled game we played- no surprise there- I mean it's been a decade and a half since I was into that game, but I was the master :).  The other kids said that Noah won over there.  We had a lot of fun!  

After TOPGOLF we came home to veg a little.  I took Luke and Jaxx to the store for their offbrand/brand name taste test for YM- then we all roasted hotdogs for dinner!  That was a lot of fun too.  I ate one of Nate's hotdogs.  I hope that was okay with my 15-day challenge.  I've been doing really good.  I haven't' missed a single workout.  This is proof that I have more energy.  After we put out the fire, we parted with Nate, Luke and Noah and Kelly went to work earlier, and the rest of us went to the Baseball park!  Brad and Erika both didn't have an activity.  This was a lot of fun.  We played on all the spinny things.  Molly had brought the frisbee so we played with that on the grass for a while while Erika played with Sadie- she was so cute on the saucer swing with her.  I can't believe my little Erika is getting so big!  She may not have too many more years of playing on the playgrounds!  So sad.  Brad had brought his fishing pole- this is why we were at this park too- and fished for a while.  When he came back he joined us in frisbee.  I pushed Sadie on the swing while the kids all played and of course, the frisbee landed on top of the large bathroom building.  So that was unfortunate, but also fun for us to watch Brad fishing it down- like with his fishing pole!  Pretty skilled!  Then we headed home.  That was a lot of fun.  We had a movie night (Again!) and watched Black Beauty- very cute show!  The kids decided it's like Dog's Purpose!  Kinda!  3-31-21
