"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Journaling Week of 12-22-13

NATIVITIES
We got to go see Sister Smith's collection of Nativities.  She has over 200 set up all over her house.  It was so neat to see them all.  They were all so different.  From different countries, different types of materials.  It was cool.  Made me a little jealous :).  Someday.  In the meantime, I'll just enjoy seeing hers every year.  I guess this was a tradition.  I'm excited to see it again next year and bring my Mom.  12-23-13

THE DAY AFTER
We had my Mom's party the day AFTER Christmas this year since she was sick during our earlier scheduled date.  We all got together and ate and sort of sang carols.  The girls performed a few numbers for us as well. Dancing by Kelly and Cello by Charity.  They did a great job.  It was a nice time. 12-26-13

MAYNES FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY
Nate's family had their party after Christmas as well.  We were on our way down to Temple Square when we realized the party was that day and not the next.  So we kept on driving to Riverton.  Lynn and Ali put on a very relaxing party this year, we just ate and sat and talked, it was wonderful.  Grandpa read to all the kids as is tradition.  I enjoyed the evening a lot!  Jared and Paulette spoiled us with gifts.  Namely Bop-It Tetris which Nate adn the kdis have been competing on for the highest score since we got it.  As of right now, it's Lukey with 495.  We'll see how high this toy goes :).  12-27-13
