Erika hit her 9 month mark, and for some reason I thought she was 10 months...... duh. I'm very happy to know that there are THREE more months before her birthday and not just two like I was thinking. Still seems close, but an extra month helps me cope :)
Erika is doing lots of new things lately! She has started crawling a little. Mostly she crawls backwards, but she can go forward if she's really focused. She likes to put herself in the sitting position from crawling. She is able to pull herself up to things now. And has started moving around furniture as well. She LOVES standing up. If she gets fussy in your lap, set her down to stand and she's a happy camper. She still loves me the most :) And I love saying that :) She is not very easygoing with new people. If I'm around she won't have it. Although she will go to a few others, Nate, Steve, Jauslin, and usually Grandpa, but only if he takes her to look in the mirror first.
She has finally started eating! Sometimes she eats more than Noah. It's been nice to not worry about how much she's eating. She hasn't been saying a whole lot of new things, just the Da-Da and Ma-Ma, but I don't think she really knows what they mean yet. She likes to make noise though. And so far she's not all that disturbed by loud noises. She's adjusted to life with 5 rowdy older sibs. She seems to be getting a new tooth up top, not sure when it will really show itself, but seems like it will be soon.
Everyone loves Erika's sweet little face. Her big eyes, and her cute little squeals. She's winning the Most Popular award among the kids :) She sure loves their attention and their trying to make her laugh and stuff. It's cute. Luke especially has won her heart. She doesn't even bother with the small talk with him, she goes right for his face and ears and just loves playing with him. He seems to be okay with it too, just laughs. She's a sweetheart. Still can't believe how fast she is growing!!!
