So today at the Gym, I watched a talk from one of the Exercise Science Professors, and she talked a lot about enduring trials. It was a really nice talk, she has an English accent so that made it even more enjoyable :). But one thing she said that really hit me as something I don't do, and it's quite a simple little piece of advice, was to "not focus on the trial, but focus on the good, and the blessings". So I've decided to go back to doing my posts about things that make me happy. Things are so much easier for me to do if I can blog about them.... not sure why. But glad I have my blog to help me do the things I feel I should do :).
First one- this morning went just as I had planned! Got the kids all ready to go BEFORE school so that I could go straight from dropping off the girls, to the store. I like it when I can do this because if I have to come back home, get kids out of the car, finish getting ready, then get them in the car again, it's 10:00 before I can get to the store. And I REALLY like doing my shopping earlier. There are less people, car carts, small carts for Brad to push.... less people.... (It would be perfect if they could just not have boxes in the aisles at that time) So anyway, it worked out PERFECTLY!! Everyone was dressed nicely, teeth brushed, hair done..... yeah, just amazing! And the kids get most of the credit, they did great. (just as a side note, if I'd decided to wait, or had to wait- either way- I could have done my shopping with only two kids because right when we got home from the store, Brad and Luke got called to play at some friends' house..... but it's all good because it went well :) )
Another- Erika gives me lots of kisses. Sweet, BIG, open-mouth kisses! I love 'em.
Lukey's affection is pretty sweet too :) He gets a little carried away and always wants to kiss "on da lips!" He's a sweetheart.
