"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Making Cookies

One of my pet peeves is when ONE of my children get a treat or a toy or whatever from their Primary teachers at the end of class.  That means it comes to Sacrament meeting with us.  This is always a hazard!  It doesn't matter what it is, how easy or difficult it is to share, there is always tension and usually some kind of tantrum attached to it!  I hate it.  I know, I'm a scrooge.  But it really makes my job just that much harder.
This Sunday, it was Noah.  He got a frosted sugar cookie from his teacher.  Erika immediately asked for a bite and then exploded when she didn't get his approval.  I quickly offered a "we'll make some when we get home" and she was sold!  How unusual!  I forgot about it and all was well.  But then we got home!
She had totally remembered!  I couldn't believe it!  So just as promised, we made her some cookies :)....
Noah helped :)

We were well overdue for a picture of the two littles and I making cookies together!  So out came the camera :)

We really had a lot of fun doing it.  I'm glad I make irrational promises in moments of complete and utter desperation.  Sometimes that's the only way to get me to do things.
