After the delivery

This picture is kind of scary.... this is me on drugs.... but isn't my baby girl adorable :)

I was really grateful for some visitors that first day. We had Aunt Heidi and Grandma Hatch,
when they brought the kids out to trade off the boys to Stephanie and Chris. Nate left to go be with the kids and took the cameras to show them all the pictures of Erika, so I didn't get any pictures of our visitors during that time. Thanks everyone that came though!! Paulette, you too!! That meant a lot to us that you would stop by. It was difficult to not be able to have the kids come and see her, but I think overall it was kind of nice to eliminate all the extra chaos that that brings. I think it was nice for Erika and Mommy and Daddy to have that time alone. She needed some time to ease into the earthlife without the sibs maybe :) (trying to look on the bright side still) it was difficult for the kids, Charity said she hated being AT the hospital and not being able to be in the room with Erika, it just made time go slower too she said.

Later in the evening Annie and Jake stopped by, SO FUN to have them come. It feels like it's been so long since we saw them, and were able to enjoy their company. I couldn't help but think what cute parents they will make someday while they were holding her :) Very cute. Thanks so much for coming Annie!

Cute little Daddy-daughter shot. I love seeing Nate with our babies. He was so wonderful to have at the hospital too. I still feel bad for making him spend the night that first night even though we knew there wasn't really anywhere comfortable to sleep. Should have just pulled another bed in the room.... it was big enough! But I do appreciate Chris and Stephanie for making that possible. That first night is always a hard one for me for some reason and this time it was a little easier. I don't know what I would do without Nate and his willingness to take care of me.

I love her chubby little legs :) and I'm so happy to finally have a baby with chubby cheeks.

I know this is a strange looking picture, but I got her smiling!! I was just so proud of it :) that's not easy to do with a newborn!

I have a pic of Noah in this exact pose, they look identical.... I will have to find that and post it.... it's nuts how much these two look alike. Kelly too.... bizarre.
