"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

VOLCANOES!

Sarah and I made our way up to Kennecott Copper Mine on Thursday afternoon. We had my three littles, Luke's friend Carter and Sarah's two boys.  I have to say I was slightly disappointed with the Mine.  Especially with how far away it is (forgot about that drive!).  Luke and his friend Carter were bummed that we didn't just go home and play the wii.  Noah had to go to the bathroom the whole time.  Erika was fine, but she got to be kind of lazy halfway through and needed to be carried everywhere.  Noah fell and gave himself a shiner.  Carter was spitting water all over the place.  Kind of annoying.  It just isn't the way I remembered it.  They did enjoy looking in the microscopes at the minerals, and looking at the big hole.  It was really cute as we were driving up there, Carter announced that he could see the volcanoes!  That got them somewhat interested for a little bit.  I think Lukey liked the models of what the pit has looked like over the years.  And he can't wait to go there in 2015 to see if it looks like their projected model.  He's so funny.  Overall it was an okay trip.  I just think I was just too tired for it.

Not the best place for a glare....
