Yeah, so I'm sure you all want hear the ramblings that are going on inside of my brain right now. But.... alas, I cannot get my lazy patooty off of this chair until I get these thoughts out. I cannot contain my excitement about this new baby. She is some special little person to be stirring up so much excitement before we even know her :). She reminded me of Charity jumping around in my tummy this morning, I could almost hear her saying, "ONE MORE DAY! ONE MORE DAY!" just like her sister. I woke up early and then couldn't sleep the rest of the morning I just laid there thinking about her..... and all the millions of things I've put off doing until today. Nate let me sit and blab about it while he got ready for work, that was nice too. It's so hard to carry out your normal routine when you know something so exciting is happening tomorrow!!
At church yesterday I had kind of a crazy realization. This is my last day being pregnant!! And if this is my last baby, then it's my last day being pregnant EVER! I am not saying this is the last, in fact after I realized this fact, it was followed by the thoughts that I hope this isn't (if you can believe THAT!). Don't get me wrong. I hate being pregnant. I really do. And especially this time. It's really been awful! I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I was not in as good of shape as I wanted to be before I got pregnant, and also the fact that I didn't have a whole lot else to do to keep my mind off of the pregnancy. But it really ahs been awful, so to think that I would want to do this again is just INSANITY (which I now specialize in). But I do love feeling them move around. Thinking of the miracle that they are, and the partnership it is with the Lord and Nate to bring them here. It's just so incredible. One of those Divine Nature things I would gues s :). I love letting my kids feel her kick, letting them talk to her, and all the getting excited to welcome a new member of our family. It's been fun in that respect and I will miss that a little. However, I can't help but think of all the things I look forward to. Like walking normal. Not having it feel like my pelvic bones are going to separate at any given moment. The constant feeling of someone's foot jammed up my rib cage might be nice to not have. I will LOVE sleeping on my tummy!! OH, I so look forward to that. And of course there's the obvious- having a sweet little newborn to grace us with her presence. She's going to be SO CUTE!! I can already tell. (well, and Charity and I decided that if she's not cute, we'll just send her back and get a puppy, because puppies are cute :) totally kidding btw.) Charity CONSTANTLY tells me how cute she is going to be. All the babies we see lately are "NOT as cute as our baby!" She is SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! She said to me yesterday, "it's so hard now that you have her bed up in your room because EVERY TIME I go in there I see the bed and then all I can think about is her!" She really is dying :) I can't wait for her to meet her. Kelly is thrilled too. I think Kelly is the type to be more into her once she is here though. Right now Kelly's focus is on getting packed :) Bradley is excited for her to come too. He has been going through the plans for when she comes ALL morning long. Mostly concerned about when Heidi is coming and the fact that he can play computer as much as he wants when she is here (yes, that is what he took from the 15 minute discussion on how things will go for the next 4 days). Luke is SURPRISINGLY more excited than I had excpected. His Nursery teacher informed me that he had explained that "it was Noah's turn to take off the link yesterday and and that Charity would do it today and then it would be the next day taht we have the baby!" I couldn't believe he was SO aware of what is going on here. He even knew the day! Why does he act so oblivious at home then?? And I don't think ANYONE could have expected Noah's level of excitement!! The kid is hilarious!! He has become SO attached to his "beebee" (it's Kelly's doll), and takes SUCH good care of her. Carrying her around, wrapping her up in the blanket, bouncing her and shhshing her.... it's ADORABLE!!!! Then he comes over and pokes my belly saying, "beebee" and then says his cute little "Hi!" to her. It's been really fun to watch him get excited. I can totally tell that they will be close friends. I just know it.
I love to think about what our little baby girl is doing right now to get ready to come. If she's going around saying her farewells to those she's been close to. I can only imagine my Grandmas and Nana are there helping her get ready to go.... giving her last minute instructions, hugging her, and shedding a few tears of excitement for her. It's got to be a special thing. I hope she has a lot of loved ones around her and that she is excited. I know she has been preparing and I know that she has had a lot of help to get ready.... I know that she wants to come to our family. That makes me smile. I love that she is going to be ours. I hope she realizes how much love there is for her here. How many people she will have to turn to for support, and for comfort. I hope she realizes how much we want her here and how much we have looked forward to her coming. It's fun to think about what she might do with her life. I love her so much already.
So anyway. These are my thoughts. I have had so many blessings to reassure me of how things will be and I know that she will be okay, but I still have my worries and concerns about the delivery. I guess that's probably normal. But I want to have faith and know that whatever happens is the Lord's will. I hope she is healthy and can live a normal life with regular trials and regular successes. I hope she really is a girl (simply because I think she is, and would have to readjust :)). I hope that if she is a boy, she is not offended by all the talk about her being a girl :) LOL. Don't ask me why i can't get this out of my head now :) That would just be too funny.
So anyway!!!! I better go clean my house now. Heidi will die if she sees this place so filthy. And I finally feel like I have some energy, so we'll catch ya on the flip side! We will try to post pictures asap. Probably just on facebook until I get home.... I'm taking a MUCH needed break from the internet while I am in the hospital.... maybe do some reading :) who knows. So anyway.... talk at ya later!

Good Luck tomorrow! Since it's your last day being pregnant, you should post a belly picture so we can all see how you look!
I think it's so adorable that Charity says other babies aren't as cute as yours. Everytime Jarom sees a baby he says, "that baby is way cuter than Blair. I wish we had that baby instead." Sometimes he's such a good brother.....and then he sees someone else's baby!:)
Good luck! We'll be thinking of you & praying for you (and I can't wait to see pictures and eventually see you!)
Sorry, changing my comment. Good luck and I am so excited for you. I'm so jealous you are going before me. I'm only 3 days overdue but I can't stand the suspense. They should give you a due timeframe instead of a due date. Like you are due the first part of November. Then it's not so bad when that day comes and goes and everyday after that is torture! Anyway, post pics or send one my way. Can't wait to see her.
Yay...the long awaited day is finally here! You'll definitely be in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow! Let us know when you're ready for visitors because we can't wait to meet your precious little girl!
TODAY IS THE DAY! I know you won't read this but I am SOOOO excited for you!!!!!! Everything is going to be great and SHE is going to be gorgeous just like her Mama! I have goosebumps :D She's on her way... I keep having thoughts from Saturday's Warrior in my head!
congrats... can not wait to see her
Christa, that was such a beautiful post. I love how you imagine what she is doing in Heaven. She is going to be so special and so cute..like all of your kids. I can't wait to see pictures and to see her in PERSON! Good luck and I love you!
You are so amazing. I read this a little late and Erika is here now. But you made me cry as I read this. I am so excited for you and your family. Thanks for sharing you wonderful feelings. I love it!
