The Zoo Trip with the Becksteads

We finally got our Zoo pass!!  And now we're making good use of it.  We've been a few times already but I failed to take any pictures.  I double I'll take this many everytime we go, but ya gotta get a few pictures of the Zoo Trip.  And while I'm not usually a big fan of taking pictures of caged animals, I liked how a lot of these turned out.

I think Baby Elephant, Zuri is our family's favorite to see there.  She's SO CUTE!!!  Call me crazy, but I just can't get enough of this little elephant.  She moves around and acts just like a little toddler!  Nate got some great pictures of her and her Mommy.
This Elephant was able to stand on only 2 feet!!  The two on one side even!  This must have been just seconds before she lifted up that back foot on the same side, it was so cool looking!!  The balance!!!

I had to climb right inside of the Rhino habitat to get this one, pretty amazing huh!  HA! jk.  If you don't look close enough to see the smudges from the glass, this looks pretty cool!
My kids love climbing on the statues all over the place.  This was Noah's first time trying it out.... I think he liked it.

Okay, here's a funny story.  For the last little while Lukey has pointed out the handicap sign when goes to the bathroom saying, "there's a guy on the potty!" because he thinks it's a picture of someone sitting on the toilet.  Well, it got really funny when Nate took Luke to the Giraffe house to use the bathroom and he saw this sign.  Luke got all disappointed and said, "Dad, they don't have potties you can sit on in this bathroom.  See, the sign says no potties."  Is that not adorable!!!  Nate explained what it meant so no more funny, but I had to record that :)

Erika's a little blurry in this one, but it's one of the few I had of her :)  She was having a hard time turning away from the Giraffes for a photo with mommy.

Brad likes the big butterflies :)

Noah missed out on the last half of the Zoo, snoozing away....

The kids talked us into letting them go on the Merry-Go-Round.  Brad rode on the Hippo,
Charity was on a wolf,

Lukey had wanted to be on the Giraffe, but some crazy lady stole it just as she heard Luke say he wanted to go on it.... yeah, I thought that was annoying and worth posting about :)  His second choice was the cheetah and he had a blast the whole time!

Kelly sat on her kitty like a lady :)

And then we went on the Train.  The kids LOVED it.  I'm still wondering what is so special about it and why they can charge money for it... but I shouldn't complain, it ruins the fun.  I loved looking down at Noah and back at Lukey and seeing their ever-present, big, cheesy grins!  They loved it and that makes it all worth it!

Noah loved riding on the "choo choo train" :)

We had a good time with the Becksteads.  It was nice of them to let us invite ourselves on their family outing!!  Anyone wanna go to the Zoo??
