Friday night we rushed to get everyone ready for their Lamb of God performance. I was going to save seats for Nate, the boys and all our guests, but got a text from Nate around 6:15 that he couldn't find the keys to the suburban. We had wanted to drive separate so that the little boys didn't have to sit there for an hour and a half before the show. Well, the reason he couldn't find the keys is because they were in my pocket! (course I guess we do have a set that's missing, still haven't popped up anywhere, kinda weird) So as soon as my Mom and Simon showed up, I put them in charge of seat saving (which ended up working out pretty good for me since people were starting to get nasty asking if I was saving the whole row... people really don't like seat savers), so anyway- Mom and Simon saved the seats and I made a mad dash back to Kaysville. The traffic Northbound was horrible! I was able to get off on Legacy and make it to Nate and the boys and back in good time. It sure was nuts though! We had so much support that night, Nate's parents came, my Mom and Simon and my Dad were there, plus Nate, Luke, Noah and Jack and I! This was a pretty big deal to Charity, Kelly, Bradley and Luke. Charity has been practicing her little heart out every Sunday evening for about 3 months. The others practiced for at least a month. It's been a huge time commitment. I think it was all worth it too, after watching the show! I loved being able to see my Charity up there on the front row the whole time. Then grabbing a few shots of the others during their little part. I wish they could have been on longer, but it was such a special part of the production. I was so glad that they all got to participate. A little jealous too, of course, that I hadn't been able to participate. I love singing in those things!! The music was amazing. It did not disappoint. What a cool thing to be a part of.
They performed that night and then again the next. Nate was working and I took the little boys to my Mom's, so it was just me that night. I think I liked it better the second time. Such a good Spirit and feeling there. So grateful for the opportunity! 3-13-15, 3-14-15
