Cleaning up the Creek

Nate's already been knee deep in yard work this year, partly because I was so needy last year he didn't get to do as much of it as was needed.  But also because of all the wind we've had this winter.  It completely transformed our section of the creek.  I hope there's still enough trees to provide the shaded serenity it has been in the past.  There's no way to know yet.  Kind of crazy to realize how old and dehydrated the trees are down there.  They don't stand much of a chance for too many years to come.  But anyway, Nate and Jack were down there this past week, working their patooties off- well, Nate was... this is what Jack was doing:



So in his mind he was VERY busy :)
