This Sunday Nate was scheduled to work Sunday DAY shift. Which is not his normal shift. He usually has to leave right as church gets over to rush off to work and be a little late for his 2-10. This Sunday he was shift balanced and so we were left without him from 8:00 to 4:00!! I was totally nervous for getting everyone to church on time and SACRAMENT MEETING! It's been at least 6-7 years since I had to do church by myself. I was really dreading it for the whole (maybe) 8 hours that I knew about it. But much to my surprise- it went really REALLY well!! I think I was in shock for most of the day because it went so well. Everyone was dressed and ready to go to church at 9:30!!! A half hour before when we usually have family council! Pretty amazing right? Yes, it is. So to kill some time we took pictures! If only I could have had them coordinate their clothing! That would have been perfect! Also, the lighting was crappy, so they're not my favorite- I will post them. It's just mostly amazing that we were done so early! So then Sacrament meeting--- everyone did SO WELL!!! Charity held Molly through most of it! ANGELS! Kelly, Bradley, Luke, Noah and Erika were pretty much angels! I only had to get after Jack a few times and take him to get drinks and go potty, but HOW AMAZING IS THAT!!! NEVER in a MILLION YEARS would I have thought that I could have such an uneventful getting ready and Sacrament meeting all by myself!!! My 6-7 years ago self would be SHOCKED!! And probably full of hope :) knowing this day could come! I really can't express how well it all went! I was so relieved! The rest of church was interesting conducting Primary with Molly- I was missing Nate then- wishing he had taken her to YM, but ya can't have everything. And Bro. Harward entertained her through part of the last hour, so that was nice. Overall, it was a pretty amazing day!! Not to mention, then we had Nate home with us all evening!! 2-19-17
"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected
