We got to see the fruits of Erika's labor for the past few months! She has talked about this non-stop ever since they did the tryouts for the main parts and then didn't really go off of their tryout but went with drawing names... totally a disappointment. But we got to see the show on Thursday and it was magnificent!!! SO COOL!! Erika was a snake. And she was in charge of helping a special needs girl on one side of her and then Jaden (the cute boy- who happens to be Charity's old seminary teacher's son- in a wheel chair) on her other side. She was all pumped to help them with their maracas and getting up to the stage to do parts... she's such a good helper- I think it's cool that her teacher can count on her for that. Such a cool girl. She did a great job on her part, and knew all the words to the songs even though she worried so much about that :). My favorite part was when they were standing up on a part that they hadn't practiced standing up on so she wasn't prepared for it. She stood up when Mrs. Turnbow said, but the look on her face was adorable- like, "what? okay, I guess we're standing up?" So much fun to see her growing up and doing new things like this. She loved it too. We had Grandma Hatch there and Uncle Steve! which was a fun surprise. Then we went to Fiiz after to celebrate her program and Brad making Choraliers! 3-1-8
