"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Luke's Birthday and Family Party

LUKE'S BIRTHDAY
Luke's day started out with a big sign from Kelly.  It was so cool!  I had given her the idea to use Mario Bros stuff, and she just ran with it!!  She went above and beyond of course!  Luke loved it.  We had puffy pancake as per Lukey's request (Since I'd gone and made crepes the day before)  He got to play his basketball game on his birthday and that ended up being super awesome because he totally ROCKED it!!  He made a three pointer and two other shots!!  The birthday three was my favorite! His cute smile and excitement was the highlight.  We ran to Noah's game when Luke's was over and cheered him on.  Noah played great as well.  After Noah's game we went and got my camera and headed up to the Mall for some lunch and Dartside.  The food court is the best place to have lunch!  Everyone gets what they want.  We went and played at Dartside (well, everyone except Molly and I).  Unfortunately, my camera battery was dead when we got there!  So sad.  So Molly and I struggled to stay entertained, but managed.  The kids and Nate looked like they were having a blast.  I loved watching them.  We got home, gave Luke all the gifts he had missed for his 12 hours of his birthday that I do for them on their twelfth birthday.  We hadn't brought enough of them with us.  He seemed to like getting a different present every hour.  Then it was time for Bradley's game.  That was fun, but stressful.  We were glad Nate came with us.  We got home and didn't have a  whole lot planned since we were planning on Grandpa Russ's party that night, but we managed to have some fun still.  I think Luke had a good day.  2-3-18

LUKE'S FAMILY PARTY
We had Luke's family party on Monday night.  Grandpa Hatch and Dawn, Grandma Hatch and Simon, and Aunt Jen all came.  We had pizza and salad, then donuts and cake balls to celebrate.  It was a fun evening.  I wish I had been feeling better.  2-5-18
