On Monday Nate had his check ride for his D-sides. It was really nerve-racking for him I'm sure. We were all praying for him and hoping it went well. And of course, Nate passed with FLYING colors! He got some great feedback about the whole thing as well. He's really been impressing his trainers the whole time he's been working on his D-sides, so that's been a huge relief and something we've felt really blessed by.
So now Nate can work D-side in any area, all by himself! With no one looking over his shoulder. It's cool for him. He will be on his own for the next few months until he goes back to the classroom to start training on his R-sides. This was huge milestone and a really big deal for Nate and our family.
