Kelly's class has been working on their marionettes since January!!! She and I worked so hard to make her little Florence Nightingale. And since then, they've been practicing and performing like CRAZY! On May 3rd, we finally got to watch the show!
Kelly was a STAR!! She did so well! She was the loudest and knew the songs the best! It was fun to watch her get into it all so much!
Florence did a great job as well, as soon as she and her friend Elizabeth Blackwell and their narrator were able to stop giggling! :) Crazy girls.

Mrs. Ashliman has been get THE COOLEST teacher on the planet for Kelly this year!! I am REALLY going to miss her. It's been so nice to not have to worry about how Kelly is doing in school, how she is being treated while she's away for 7 hours a day, and how much fun she might have. Mrs. Ashliman LOVES Kelly and treats her like a queen and on top of it all, she's just SO fun, and knows how to make everything at school fun as well. I just love her! I wonder if Kelly will ever get another teacher we love as much as Mrs. Ashliman.
It was a lovely show! All the songs were so fun and upbeat, and they even had actions and props for several of them, and it was so fun to see all the marionettes!
