Luke's Big Show

Cute Lukey was SO nervous for his performance that Thursday!  I loved it :).  Made me smile.  We had a good cheering section for him as well, Grandma Hatch, Nate, all the kids and I.  We all couldn't get enough of Luke's singing faces :).  He's so animated.  It's so fun to watch him get into that though.  He doesn't get into a whole lot these days :).  I was so proud of him and loved his little solo too.  What a brave little guy.  We of course grabbed some ice cream on our way home to celebrate with :).  12-19-14

Here they are waiting to start- I am still annoyed that they combined the school choir and the 3rd grade performance.  It was way too long, there wasn't near enough room for everyone to sit- seriously there were people standing and sitting all over that room, even Mr. Hughes admitted we'd filled the room to WELL over capacity (hmm), it would have been really easy to just split them and have a 20 minute interval for choir audience to leave and 3rd grade audience to get seated... and well... it was just annoying that they did that!  But anyway :)  My mom got a kick out of the fact that LUke is sitting right next to Henry- her brother's grandson :).  Second cousins.  You would never know they were related if you ask me- they look nothing alike!

cropped out- I LOVE my Luke's face in this picture- he's such a sweetheart.
`

We all loved watching the many faces of Luke as he sang.

here he is doing his solo!!!  "How I hate going out in the storm" and then with the two girls next to him "All the way home I'll be warm!"  He did so well and we were so proud of him!  I think he was pretty proud of himself.
His favorite song in his performance was: Santa's Medley

He has perfected this face- I know it very well.

I loved watching him get into all the dance moves and have so much fun!!  He really had a blast.  Cute boy.
