Erika's First Field Trip

ERIKA'S FIRST FIELD TRIP
Erika had her first field trip this Tuesday!  It was SO thrilling!  The whole month leading up to it was as well!  I was so bummed that it was a day Nate worked so I couldn't go.  It's really not an option to go on field trips right now anyway, but I may have tried to make it work if he was home.  Erika expressed her disappointment on the matter SEVERAL times.  It's fun to have a kid who wants me around so much :).  Most of them did at this age, but it's fun to still have that with someone :).  She kept saying, "There's one sad thing about my field trip...... that you can't come."  BUT she still managed to have a good time!  In spite of tearing her scab off her knee as well!!  Emily said it happened right after they got there and totally spoiled some of the fun for her!  What a bummer!!  But really, when Erika told me about the field trip, I never would have guessed that she'd missed out on anything.  (including the bouncy house because she thought it would hurt :( ), she seemed to have had a good time regardless.  She was so lit up telling me about it!  She loved that she got to pick out her own pumpkin!  Emily was kind enough to send me the pictures she took- I'll get those on here asap.
