A little picnic in the rain..... and then "Mom making us stay outside..... even after it got sunny"....

On Wednesday we had spent so much time bumming around that I decided we needed to eat our lunch in the rain.  Kelly helped me make our "Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon and Sugar Baked Tortillas" that we've been wanting to try for a while.  We improvised a little with different fruits since I am terrible at planning how many apples little Lukey is going to help himself to.  I was really happy with the recipe though, looked just like regular salsa but it was fruity!  And the tortillas were delicious as usual.  The kids ALL remembered Natalie making those for us when we were at "my friend's house" and how she "kept making them for us!"  It was a yummy lunch.

After lunch I forced everyone to stay outside and play in the rain.  I guess this is one of those times when I have to be "real" and say that not everyone was happy with me.  I had lots of grumpy, whining kids out there on the porch, but I'm happy to say we were able to convince them that it was a good idea and most everyone was happy by the end.
Bradley "flossed his toes with the rain" how creative is THAT!

Erika has had this cough FOREVER!!!!!  I'm pretty sure I should be taking her in to be checked for an ear infection, but I just can't bring myself to do it!!  I do have drops so she hasn't been in constant pain.  She is ALWAYS sick, or having some issues.  Makes me think she has hayfever or something.  I need an otoscope.

Kelly was thrilled to be playing in the rain.  She was the most into it.  And she's the one that stole Grandpa's cups to throw the water around with.

Here's Noah yelling :)  That's his latest thing.

We saw this bee.  He couldn't fly and was somewhat immortal when it came time to smash him.  He didn't give up easy.  Luckily nobody was stung this time.

When I'm sitting on my porch with all the kids around me and my camera in hand, there's nothing to do but take pictures!!  So that's what I do.  And in case you hadn't already noticed, I hardly moved at all.  And I was still in my jammies.  But my kids are cute :)
I LOOOOOOOVE this picture of Brad!!!  He looks so handsome, so grown up!!!

This was after Luke realized I wasn't going to let them go in and play the wii.  He's officially addicted.

OH this girl is just so beautiful!!!  I love her so much!  This was after a VERY HUGE mood swing for the better and it happened SO quickly.  I was so proud of her!  I am always impressed with how quickly Charity can go from unhappy to smiling.  She's such a good girl.  And so cute too :)
Erika helped herself to the junk in between the crack in the porch cement.  SO disgusting.  I think I gagged after I saw it happen.  Poor baby.  Good thing she has hydrochloric acid in her tummy...

Kelly was going going going the whole time we were out there, so I got less pictures of her, but what a sweetheart to be there for me and help out with everyone and everything.  She's a fun girl.

see I didn't even leave the porch....

Brad and Kelly had a newspaper sword fight.  I love how they were both closing their eyes in this one :).... It was fun to watch though....

Luke cheered up of course :)  Made faces for me and played in the gutter :)  What a fun kid...

Who wouldn't love this face!!  Even at four in the morning it's still just as cute as ever :)
I don't think these two could look more alike if they were twins!!  Even at such different ages!!  I love it :)  If only I could get the cinnamon off of Charity's teeth!!  These pictures give me chills, I just love how cute they both look.

And there ya have it.  A humongous post about..... nothing basically :)  Just my cute kids :)  What else is new right :)

I love that pic of Erika where she is holding the orange bowl. That HUGE smile is so cute! All your kids are cute, but when babies smile so big, I just love it!
