DATING
I LOVED Bliss's lesson this week on dating! I thought she totally nailed it. I loved all the things she touched on. I'm glad Molly was being a good girl so I could stay and listen. 8-7-16
DRAMA
Lots of camp drama already! Luckily it's almost over :). I was passing out things and collecting parent letters and such tonight and I have to say, I am completely shocked at some of the things I've heard from parents about the leadership and young women. I guess I shouldn't say plural, it's just one, but I am definitely SHOCKED!! I know nobody's perfect, but man..... shocked! 8-7-16
SHEETS
I told Noah he needed to change his bed sheets and he said, "I just did like five weeks ago!" Completely serious, like that's not too long to wait!! Crazy kid. And gross. 8-8-16
HAPPY THOUGHT
As I was getting ready for Girls Camp, kind of stressing about every possible detail. Even getting a little homesick already! The day before I needed to leave! I was feeling really sad about having to leave my nursing baby without her lunch box, and my poor husband without a car and enough meals. I was really sinking into a frustration. So, I said a little prayer and asked Heavenly Father to please help me not to worry about things. Then, before I could really ask for much more, the image of Jack playing cards with all of us in a big circle, came to mind. He was SO CUTE when he was trying to do it himself. The image just brought a smile to my face. I knew that was going to be my happy thought while I was homesick and away at camp. It was the perfect little pick me up. I'm so grateful for my sweet little people who make my life something to live for. 8-9-16
