DAY 1
The first day of the year was a very nice, relaxed one. We really didn't do much. Slept in. Bummed around. Watched some tv. Seriously, we took it easy :). Then Nate had the idea to go out to dinner to celebrate the new year. Applebee's it was! The kids were so good! Our waitress couldn't help but spout out another compliment on how well-behaved the kids were every time she came to our table. She was so nice. And very generous. She got us a discount for the food coming out late, pretty much catered to our every whim as well. Very nice. It was a very fun dinner. I love that we can do stuff like that even with so many kids. You wouldn't think that would be possible. After Applebee's we went up to Grandpa Hatch's house and visited. Watched some Shark Tank, ate treats. The usual :). We loved it. Steve and Jauslin were there too- it was really nice. Came home and watched some more Star Wars. I finished the book The Secret Keeper as well. Great book- can't believe I can read an almost 500 page book in less than a week. Great way to start off the year if you ask me :) 1-1-16
DAY 2
Bummed around again :). Got lots of laundry done though. Took Kelly to go get her hair cut! She chopped off about six inches I would guess. Looks adorable! We're excited to play with it. Charity got a trim and then the two of them had a buddy date at Fiiz. 1-2-16
BASKETBALL
Bradley, Luke and their awesome coach Nate (yes, I'm still trying to recover from forcing Nate to volunteer to be coach... crappy wife- crappy life... sorry, Nate) have started back up with basketball! First practice was on Saturday. I am getting so excited for their games! 1-2-16
