We were in charge of the family Christmas party this year. We chose one date and scheduled the building and then found out the Idaho Mayneses couldn't come until the next day, so we unscheduled and then rescheduled the building (which is more trouble than it should be if you ask me). It ended up only being available from 6:00 on, so that left us with little set up time before eating, but with our simplistic style, it worked out :). Nate smoked some chicken wings and ham, everyone brought sides and desserts. We played the candy bar game and then watched a movie on the projector after playing lots and lots of basketball :). It was super simple and not very Christmassy (as we realized when it was over), but ended up being a lot of fun. I think everyone had a good time.
I think Hannah won Molly over by the time the party was over...
I love this one of Nancy hiding the Junior Mints in her shirt :). Hilarious! I wonder why none of my kids have inherited the Junior Mint gene?
Must have been loud?
