INTO THE WOODS WITH LUKE THE WOLF
Luke's sixth grade play was a HUGE success! They have been working on that play for MONTHS!! Almost the whole school year! It was so much fun for Luke. I could tell he was really excited for it and really got into it- I was happy about that. Luke got to be the wolf which was a lot of fun for him. So we weren't sure how the evening was going to go so we went to the morning showing of his play as well as the evening one. It was a lot of fun to finally witness all the fruits of their labor. Luke was so adorable up there, acting, and putting on a show. He was so cute singing his solo while dancing with Little Red and doing his "grandma" voice and howling and eating Red! He did an excellent job! So much fun! I think he loved wearing the nightgown the most. I loved that I could hear his singing voice over the rest when they would sing all together. He has a really great voice! Kelly was going to have to miss the evening show for her Lacrosse game, so she had me check her out of school (eye roll) so that she could come see Luke's play. She had done the same one so it was super sentimental to her. I have to admit it made me smile inside that she cared so much. She came a little after it started (since they started early) and then had to leave right after Luke's big scene. She was missing her AP class for it! But what a cool big sister. Grandma Hatch came to the morning show as well. It was fun to have her support too. It was the wrong night for a lot of people, but many texted "good luck"s and "wish I could be there"s, so that was nice! I really can't say enough about how well Luke did! So much fun! Now what will he do with all his time :). 4-19-18
I really hate the lighting at that school. Makes for crappy pictures. But whatever- you get the idea.
He was always in the back on these shots. Bummed me out- but here's a pic of everyone else :).
um can you say adorable! I mean, this was the evil dance with Red that Lukey nailed!
