It was such a miracle that we didn't have much on our schedule on Thursday! I had to rearrange a primary thing, and Brad was at his rehearsal, but pretty amazing right! I spent a few hours making his "Tesla" cake that day, in between going out with Kelly and such. It was a cool cake, but I wish it could have been cooler. Not enough time. As it was, it took me three hours! Hopefully my dad liked it. We went up to his house when everyone got home and had a delicious taco and burrito meal from Dawn, then visited for a little bit and then headed down to Rocket Park for the cake and ice cream. It was actually a little too cold to be at the park- without jackets and stuff. If we'd gone sooner we may have had enough sunlight to keep us warm, but it was all good. Everyone hurried and ate their ice cream and a tiny corner of the cake- I so need to stop making the cakes so big! and then we went back up to Grandpa's. It's always nice to spend time together- I was glad we were able to. 5-9-19
