These last days of school could not have come slower! I was SO VERY ANXIOUS for them this year. But they did come! And I was completely unprepared for some dumb reason! The older kids all get out a few days earlier it seems like- they are done way before the younger ones. But on the last day of Elementary school, I was cleaning the van- which happens to be an ALL DAY PROJECT apparently, and got so caught up in that that I didn't even go and take pictures of the kids with their teachers or go get ice cream! I totally let us all down! I'm super bummed about it! Minus that I'm just relieved to have school over! I just hate that I dropped that ball! But it is what it is. And school is finally out! Here's to summer! We went over to the Clemenses for their little ice cream and water party- that was fun. I'm always so exhausted and ready to just take a nap the last day of school, like the whole year hits me and I can't stand anymore- but it was a lot of fun. Then we came home and cleaned up the house and got the yard all ready for all the friends to come over for pizza and a projector movie that night. This was a fun night- Brad had the most friends here and it had been mostly his idea, so we let him call most of the shots. But Luke, Noah and Erika had some as well. It ended up being a lot of fun even though the rain came AGAIN and turned off our projector movie idea. The kids came inside and the teenagers took over the kitchen playing games and eating snacks and the other kids watched movies throughout the house! Kinda nuts, but we chose to sit in the living room visiting with Travis and Emily :). It was a fun night. Then we crashed! 5-31-19
