"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Field Day and my new camera

Wednesday was a VERY big day. Kelly's Birthday, Field day, and the day my camera arrived. I thought I would keep field day and my new camera separate from Kelly's birthday.... but here are the first few pictures I took with my new camera. It of course got here just as I was leaving to go to Field day. So my Dad got to play with it a little while I was gone, but as soon as I got home.....

Field day was fun. A lot different from last year, and I'd have to agree with Charity, not nearly as fun. But it was still a good time. I was happy that Sarah could watch the rest of the kids for me so that I could go and help out. I was working at the Long Jump station. Just watched kids do the long jump and recorded their distances. Kinda boring, but I tried to make it a little more fun. They did have a lot of water activities that they didn't have last year.... the kids seemed to love that. Charity and Kelly were so sweet to me when they saw me. Charity was completely bummed that I wasn't there when her group came through the Long Jump. But we made do. They got their faces painted and we hurried home to get things ready for Kelly's party.

Erika had just been sleeping and I woke her up playing with my camera..... I'm trying to bite my tongue and not say how I feel about how I look in this picture because if I keep deleting the ones I dislike of myself there will be none. And we don't want that. So anyway..... for posterity's sake

And my cute adorable girl.... she's so dang cute!
