"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Oh my heavens, Kelly is SEVEN!!!

This little girl is getting old way too fast for me!! I can't believe she's SEVEN!!! This is her favorite hairdo :) It will always bring back fond memories to look at this little girl in this hairdo.... she's such a sweetheart.... here's some more fond memory triggers:

Kelly on her BIRTHday. Her poor eyes had that goopy stuff in them

First Birthday.... she loved her cake!

2nd birthday at Lindsay Gardens. The cake Becky McKenzie made.... so cute! oh, and her broken arm!! That silly cast that she kept taking off.

the ever-memorable THIRD birthday in our apartment in Alaska- Chuck E. Cheese afterwards. Kelly got ONE present that year!! And she was ecstatic.... I'll never forget how happy she was that day.

Her Kitty-cat Party for her 4th Birthday.

Celebrating her birthday dinner at McD's on her Fifth Birthday.

And last year's Dora Party at the Park for her 6th birthday.

Kelly is an absolute doll!!! She is a joy and a blessing to have in our life. Let me tell you a little about her. Kelly is usually the first one to get up in the morning. She is the first one to write you a letter when you're down. She's the first one to go get your pillow and blanky when you're not feeling well. Kelly is usually the first one to say, "I WILL!". Whether it's volunteering for something unknown, or even to help out with some cleaning. She draws pictures and writes sweet notes to everyone. She loves to draw. Loves to play with Charity and also have friends from school over. She finds so much joy in watching her baby sister, and is really good at bouncing off the walls to entertain her brothers. Kelly is a delicate little girl. She has quite the sensitive side, and it hurts so much to see her hurt. She keeps track of all of her owies :). Kelly thinks of everyone! She will even wear her hair a certain way "because the boys like to play with it when it's like that!". She has definitely noticed a few of the boys in her class. They are good friends and good teases. She enjoys all of it :). She seems to be little miss popular in her class. She loves show-and-tell, music class, and library. Kelly doesn't like to miss school for ANYTHING! Kelly enjoys church but wishes she could sit with her Mommy the whole time. She's done a few really fabulous talks in the last year, and impresses everyone with her ability to read so well. She's almost caught up with Charity in her reading level. She enjoys chapter books. Kelly is a fountain of knowledge these days, teaching us about triangular prisms and such.... it's fun that she is learning so much. She's very organized and is often the first person I turn to when a drawer needs to be reorganized simply because she enjoys doing it so much. She likes playing the wii, but not the "boyish games". She did a great job in her swimming class and is anxious to move up a level this next session. We love to watch her performances still too.... She enjoys making things whether it's a juice stand, a coloring book, a pet bed, or a rock collection. She's very creative and always has a new idea to help make things run more smoothly. She's got a lot of initiative. In fact just Saturday she got tired of waiting for Mom to make invitations to her party so she ingenuitively found Mom's Thank You cards and turned them into adorable Birthday invitations. One for everyone she knows :) In the family that is. I don't usually make invitations for the family parties, but Kelly wanted some, so she got right down and made some. She knows how to get what she wants too. She loves music and is excited to have a "music" party/cake. Kelly keeps quiet a lot, so people rarely get to see her really bubbly side, but she is just such a happy little girl to have around. Kelly, we love you!!! We love you more than you could know! Thanks for being in our family. Thank you for adding such a sweet little spark to our family and for always letting us know of your love. We are so glad Heavenly Father let us have you. Happy Birthday~ you're SEVEN!!!
