"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Somebody turned ONE!

Not any of my kids of course :).
One of "my Young Women" from our Taylorsville ward, from SO many years ago, put on facebook that she wanted this cake for her baby girl.  I was so excited about it I offered to make it.  She wanted two smash cakes, one for pictures and one for her party.  So that's what we did.  I ended up doing one in fondant and the other with frosting.  We couldn't settle on which one was best here in our family- but I thought they turned out pretty cute.  I wish the coloring looked right in the pictures.  Again with the laziness.  I really loved making these ones.  I just might have to do them again.  I love having the experience, so if anyone ever wants a fun cake- I'm there!

And of course, as with any cake, there is an added bit of mischief by these little critters.  This time Jack just wanted to take a bath :).  Coat and all!

Looks like Midnight is ready to join them too.
(should I have cropped these?)
