"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Charity's Benefit Concert

Charity's Benefit Concert was Thursday night.  Kelly, Molly and I saved seats while Charity practiced and then Nate headed up the rear bringing everyone else after they ate dinner.  I dislike the fact that she had to be there an hour and a half early and that it was clear up at Layton High.  I shouldn't complain, I know this is how it goes, but I think it was extra annoying because I was so hangry.  Nate brought me some sliders :) all was well.

The choir, band and orchestra were all in this concert.  I still don't love orchestra music, but the band was fantastic, especially the percussion band.  The very best part of course was watching my favorite Charity!  She did so great!  The choir is always the best!!  They did a great job on their finale number with all three of them (band, orchestra, choir) together- very impressive!  I think at least one of my kids needs to play a band instrument.  How can I get that to happen?
