Heidi and John Photo Shoot

Heidi asked me if I'd take pictures of them for a Christmas card and of course I jumped at the chance!  I love the experience, and I love being a part of their picture.  They are of course the perfect models and made this a really fun experience.  I'm grateful for their patience with me and my inexperience.
I loved this wall!  I've seen so many people taking pictures by it, I was so glad it worked out so well.  I wasn't really sure how they would turn out.

The shade was just right, but my flash battery died right after we got there, so we improvised a little.  I think overall the lighting and color were just fine.  I am really happy with how they turned out.  Hopefully Heidi likes them too!

I don't know why, but candid pictures are always my favorite.

We kept joking about how some of the poses looked too engagement-y, which the more I think about it- why are the more intimate ones engagement-y?  Shouldn't the married couple be more intimate than the pre-married??  Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  But of course it really does...

But then these two are still newlyweds, so it's still totally acceptable to be mushy and cheesy in their pictures :).  I loved it!

This is still my favorite.

Then I took the pictures to my Lightroom :).  They were so fun to play with!

sorry Heidi, I couldn't resist :)  just keepin it real ;)

Awww.  I'm so happy my little sister found someone who treats her the way I want her to be treated :).  They're such a cute couple.
