K, so Charity lost another tooth two Sundays ago. Actually I'm going to take some credit and say that I pulled it. She was THRILLED!!! She loves the excitement of telling her class and getting money from the tooth fairy.... all of it is just so fun for her. So you can imagine the disappointment when the tooth fairy FORGOT to leave money under her pillow Sunday night. Charity decided (much to mine and Nate's pleasure) that "the tooth fairy probably just doesn't work on Sundays!" This was okay with her and she was all set to just put the tooth under her pillow again on Monday night. Well, a very tragic accident happened and poor, sweet, little Charity LOST her tooth either AT temple Square, or somewhere in the car on the way home. I had warned her of this when she chose to wear the tooth necklace around, but she didn't want to listen. So anyway. The tooth was gone!!! How was she going to get her money from the tooth fairy????? She was stressing. And I mean REALLY stressing! I finally told her to just leave a note for the tooth fairy under her pillow to explain what happened :) This is the funny part. This is what she wrote:
Dear Tooth Fairy,
I lost my tooth in the car. I promise I lost my tooth, you can even look in my mouth. I'll keep my mouth OPEN wide. If I find my tooth I'll give it to you.
Love
Charity Maynes
I just can't get over how cute this is.
The tooth fairy surprised her with two dollars and a note (Nate's cute idea, I have the cutest husband) telling her that she's sorry Charity lost her tooth and that she was giving her 2 dollars instead of just one for taking so long to get it to her :) Charity thinks that she's going to pull all of her teeth on Sundays so that she can get two dollars instead of just one everytime :) Very smart little girl. So anyway. I just thought this was noteworthy. Charity's adorable.
