Saturdays are OUT! Mondays are IN!

Now that Nate works Saturdays and has Mondays off, we've kind of turned Mondays into our Saturdays. We try to get out and do something different. This one was really fun. The latest thrill for our kids is to go to the "Red Park" and make sand castles. Luke actually says, "Hey! I got an idea! Wet's go to the RED PAWK and build SAND CASSOS!!!!!" like every morning when we're dropping the girls off at school. Like it's a brand new idea that we've never done. So anyway. I finally had my camera with me there, and went a little picture happy..... just trying to max out this Picasa account too :)

They have to carry their buckets a pretty long way to get the water to make the good mud for sandcastles, but it's SO worth it!

Noah gets bored after a while and goes over to the playground. I keep telling him that if he would just walk he wouldn't have to get his pants all dirty!

Nate really got into this with the kids. It was nice to just be able to watch and take pictures for a change. I think my shoes are permanently filled with sand now from all our visits to the red pawk.

So after we picked up Charity from school we headed on up to Nate's Parents' house. It's been so long since we did anything with them so it was a much needed visit. We got to enjoy the beautiful lake right by their house, and the incredible park as well! Daybreak is sure a nice place to live. I think if it weren't for the HOA's rules and fees and stuff, Nancy would have me sold on the place. Especially because of that Lake! SO FUN!

I really didn't give any kind of heads up on this picture, so no one's smiling, sorry, but I thought it was cute to have a picture of the girls walking next to Grandma Ruthie riding her bike. She is so amazing!! She rides her bike EVERYWHERE!!! And I actually got a turn on Grandpa's, it was REALLY fun!! Something about it being different just made it really fun I think.

Here's cute Jarom and Noah on the swings. You can tell Noah's liking Meg's act so much better :) He kept watching her :)

I love how Charity made herself comfy next to Noah for a while to offer him some company. Cute big sister.

This park was amazing! So many fun and DIFFERENT toys to play on! You can tell Nate's having as much fun as the kids.

I wish my camera hadn't died before Nate piled four kids on this thing and spun them around... it was hilarious!

After the park we got to go to Quiznos with Grandma and Grandpa and then some ice cream afterward. It was so nice to be able to spend some time with them alone. We don't get to do that often enough. Really reminded me of when they came to visit in AK. Good times. Mondays are so fun now!
