Kelly's Birthday Party

We celebrated Kelly's birthday on Wednesday (her birthday :)).... She wanted a music cake, so this is what we came up with.

It's not musically correct, so don't look at it too closely. I was going to go all out and make it the last line of the birthday song, but when I realized I couldn't get the whoppers to say ON the lines (licorice), I just bagged the whole realistic thing and just put them wherever looked good. I thought it was cute :) And we did the border yellow because that is Kelly's NEW favorite color!

Kelly wanted to have it at North Canyon Park. She invited EVERYONE in the family. Gave out her own invitations and everything.... so cute! I think I already mentioned this, but she actually used my Thank You cards to make her invitations on because I was taking to long to help her with it (since I wasn't really going to do it anyway)..... she's so on top of things though!

The kids just played for the first little while.... I played with my camera.

I'm loving the Sport Mode (sorry Brent and Sarah) for my action photos.... I think it works GREAT!

I have about a million pictures like this, with Nate walking and talking with his Dad.... I love them. I think I should make a collage of them someday.....

We had so many people show up!! It was great! Kelly felt the love I'm sure. Thanks everyone that came!!!

I've got a lot of these too.....

Kelly was so anxious to open presents. She had us rushing right through all the food and cake and stuff.... lucky for her she got to open Brent and Sarah's a little early because Brent had to leave. She's so funny.

This was cute!! I wish Samuel wasn't blurry, but how cute!!

I like this one a lot. My brother and his girlfriend. Thanks again for coming you guys!

FINALLY Kelly got to open her presents! This is what Charity got her.

Bradley picked out a cute little Hello Kitty that is dressed like a lamb, and then just as planned (for the last year or so!!!) he wrapped the box in DUCT TAPE before wrapping it. Such a brother. I think Kelly felt the love from his thought :) Took her a while to get open though.

Look how many people she had there!!! So cool. And I don't even think that's everyone.

Noah was really happy with what he got her :) Looks like he thinks it's his.... LOL.... Twister is my favorite too :)

I'm not sure who took this one, but it was on my camera, so I posted it :)

I just love Erika's face in this :)

she seems to like her Aunt Heidi okay :)

I think I asked Kelly how old she was in this one... SEVEN!!!!

So after the rockin' party at the park, we came home to play Kelly's new Sing It game for the wii. Grandpa spoiled her with 2 new remotes and the game. Then Grandma Hatch came over and gave her a "laptop".... she loved it :) to say the least.

I'm trying to remember if she's ever played with balloons yet.... she seemed like it was her first time.

and we played Twister a bit. We'll have to work on our technique....

Grandpa and his little side-kick.... shadow..... buddy..... whatever ya wanna call it..... they just love each other, it's adorable!

It was a fun day.... fun party.... I think Kelly liked it. It was fun to spoil her and make her feel special today.

I love the cake! I'll have to do that for a piano group lesson/party.
