On the way home from school one day, we saw some cars pulled off to the side of the road and people out of cars, looking up into this tree. Bradley spotted it first- the BALD EAGLE!!! I couldn't resist, had to get out and look at it! I got a few pictures with my phone, but just couldn't help but drive home and get my camera :). If only I'd been able to do all the right settings and stuff. But these are the pictures I got. My neighbor down the street had done the same thing and had some pretty good shots as well. It was a lot of fun for the kids to see, and a lot of fun for me to try to get a picture. Took me back to Alaska when this was a more common thing.
He got up and flew away pretty soon after I started shooting. Pretty cool!!
