"You are not here to live a mediocre to average life; you are here to live an amazing life, a miraculous life. If it weren't for your challenges, there would be no miracles. You must do that which seems impossible, for it is only in the impossible that miracles are had." - author unknown, but very respected

Luke is EIGHT!!!

Luke turned 8!!  This is such an exciting birthday!  He had a nice day, went to school, got checked out to go to lunch with Mom and Dad at, his choice, Sizzler!  That was a lot of fun for Nate and I to be able to have that one on one time with him.  Thanks to my Mom for tending the littles.  He had the biggest ice cream sundae at the end :).  So fun.

Luke likes to play video games, play baseball and basketball, chase Jack, and prepare and eat Ramen Noodles.  He doesn't like any food that is mixed with anything colorful.  And he really doesn't like the colorful stuff a whole lot.  He still likes fruit.  Luke is a fun kid, it's really fun to sit and have a serious conversation with him, like we did on the way home from the family meeting the other night.  Doesn't happen often, he's usually pretty silly, but he sure talks when ya get him going.  He has, very faithfully, been wearing his cute, little CTR ring that he got from his Primary teacher at the beginning of the year.  He has a strong desire to do what is right.  He is one of the best students in his class.  "Model Student" is what Mrs. Featherstone called him :).  He is a great reader, loves to learn new things.  He's very good at Math and his favorite thing at school is recess :).  He likes to check out the I Spy books from the library and look at them with his Mom.  Luke likes to stay up late, wake up late.  It's difficult to drag his little bumb out of bed in the morning. He's pretty carefree, doesn't let a lot of things bother him.  He keeps to himself for the most part and is rarely a source of contention in our home.  I am very grateful for that.  Luke is one of my favorite little characters in this world.  He manages to steal everyone's heart with very little said.  He's a handsome little guy and is going to have to fight off the ladies when he gets older :).  Everyone in our family would say they love how funny Luke is and how he makes people laugh.  We all appreciate his humor and his sweet, love.  He is a very valuable member of our family.  Happy Birthday Luke!!
