Noah's always been one of my little kids. Unfortunately for him, he is one of "the yonger ones" but to think that he is SIX I may have to rethink my references. He is growing up!! I am so proud of him. Small little Noah takes up a huge part of our hearts and our family.
He had his party the night before, and Charlie ended up sleeping over, so that was a fun way to wake up in the morning and play with him. Then Nate and I took him out for his birthday meal with Mom and Dad. This is something we want to do this year. Breakfast was the only option with how busy our day was. He chose McD's. It was fun to get some time with just him. He's a sweetheart.
He spent the rest of his day going to the boys' basketball game and then the girls' recital. So not as focused on him as he would have liked :). But life goes on. We spoiled him pretty good the day before. We had some ice cream that night to sing and celebrate one more time before the day was over.
Noah is such a cool kid. He is a superhero, ninja, teddybear and friend all wrapped in a cute little Noah package. He likes: yellow, oatmeal, playing games with his family, using his imagination, toys/weapons. Dislikes: when people say they are going to do things and they don't, vegetables, most fruitsk, being bored. New things he can do: write his name and the whole alphabet for that matter, he can read!!!, he's actually a really great reader! He likes to figure out how to spell things and write them on the white board. He learned how to ride a bike this year and rode to and from school during the warm months. He can do flips. He's gotten really good at basketball at the practices with his brothers and Nate. His Kindergarten teacher just loves him and how well he behaves. He prides himself on how well he follows the rules.
Noah is a special little person. He holds a very special role in our family. I don't think we could last long without him.
