Last JV Game of the Season

I had to do stats at this game, so I didn't get any pictures of the actual game.  But here are a few from the warming up.  Don't you just love these mountains!!  I do!!

KELLY'S LAST GAME
We played Brighton on their stadium Friday evening.  It was a pretty big deal.  Kelly had gotten a little car sick on the way there, turned around talking with her friends the whole way, but she toughed it out and was able to play an awesome game!  If only the refs and the other team had played awesome.  They were really rough players.  They slammed into Kelly (which Lichelle and I affectionately called, "Kelly Sandwich") several times, anytime she got the ball almost.  Well, except when she scored our first point!  They were on to her and weren't going to let her have any more.  The refs didn't seem to want to make any good calls during the last half of the game there were several weird calls and a lot of missed body slams and pushes.  So unfortunately, we lost by quite a bit even though we were a point ahead at the half.  They played so hard it was really nothing to be ashamed of, but kind of a bummer note to end on.  Kinda weird that Lacrosse is officially over.  I think Kelly's going to keep practicing with Varsity, but we're done with our games.  Til Fall.  5-4-18
